General Information about Bantam:
Midget is a tiered division throughout the year. Both our College Prep and AAA teams are Single Season teams, meaning that evaluations that occur during the winter months, determine the CP and AAA teams that will play one long season from the end of March through to the end of July with the goal of making it to the Provincial Championship Tournament. Our AA summer team also compete for a spot in their own Provincial Championships.
Each season will have tryouts to determine competitive teams and recreational teams. Specific dates for these will be added to the website and emailed out to members once they are determined.
Programs:
Fall Ball - First week of September until mid October (approximately 7 weeks)
- Registration for Fall Opens in July and closes Mid August
- Players hoping to play on the College Prep or AAA team for the upcoming season are strongly recommended to participate in Fall ball as it is used as an extended tryout for the single season teams
- Two to three field times per week. Weekend games and weekday practices
- No friend requests are allowed
- Practices/Games are held at Hammond Stadium and Larry Walker Field
Winter After School Program - November to March
- Competitive groups will train together twice a week at our Indoor Facility

PLEASE READ THIS PART CAREFULLY
Spring season is a huge season for RMMBA and requires as many volunteers as possible to make it run smoothly. During your SPRING registration process, you will get the choice to either:
OR
- Opt out of volunteering and pay the $250 fee - this will be added to your registration fee and is a non-refundable fee. The only exceptions for refunds will be if you end up volunteering to Coach or Manage a team. Please consider volunteering!
We will hold coaches’ clinics for those that can commit to coaching. Those that cannot coach are still required to volunteer at EVERY game. Coaches need to focus on coaching, parents must set up/take down the fields, ensure the safety of the children waiting to bat, help with warm up and cool down. It's a very small amount of work if we all do our part, but a huge job if you let it all fall on your coach! There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer on a team level and an association level.
Volunteer hours will be tracked by your team manager
We look forward to seeing you all on the field!
